We Recycle Unwanted Shelter Dogs Into Wonderful Pets!
Recycled Doggies is an all-foster rescue founded by former volunteers of a Kentucky shelter. We took all that we learned while volunteering at the shelter and formed this rescue to help shelter dogs, one by one, escape death and find their forever homes.
We believe that amazing dogs are abandoned at shelters all the time, and our mission is to help those amazing dogs find homes by pulling them from the shelters where they may not put their best paws forward, cleaning them up, socializing them, and then introducing them to you!
Our focus is on saving death row dogs at shelters, so we do not take owner surrenders or strays.

Adopt a Recycled Doggy!
Our adoption fee is $195 which includes all vaccinations (age-appropriate), deworming, spay/neuter and microchipping. As recommended by our vet, we may also do bloodwork, a dental, or other medically necessary diagnostics or treatments. Regardless of the amount of medical care a dog needs, we never charge a higher fee for our dogs. That’s why donations are always needed. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and the head of household (If you are not the head of household, the head of household must be a co-applicant and must come to the adoption event so we are able to confirm that the homeowner/person named on the lease is okay with the adoption).

Make a Donation
Recycled Doggies is run by a team of devoted volunteers who do not take salaries or get paid for their time. We rely completely on donations and adoption fees to pay vet bills, medical expenses, buy food and keep the doggies in our rescue happy and healthy during their time with us. Regardless of the amount of medical care a dog needs, we never charge a higher fee for our dogs. That’s why donations are always needed.

Recycled Doggies does not have a shelter or facility. All of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are always looking to grow our list of committed, dependable foster homes so that we can save more amazing dogs from certain death in shelters.
